Our next ‘Meet the Team Tuesday’ introduces Shane, although you might have met him already as a part of our team at DC Space & Storage Solutions!
Today, he offers some insight into his role, his favourite elements of working at DC, as well as some fun facts. Enjoy!
What is your role and what does it consist of?
I am the Installation & Warehouse Supervisor. In my role I am responsible for managing our installation teams onsite, this includes on the job training, site health & safety and making sure our high standards are achieved correctly and on time. I also maintain our warehouse from housekeeping to stock management.
What’s your favourite part of your role?
My favourite part of my job is when a project is completed. I like to see the difference we have made to a customer's business and the customer's reaction to it.
What do you like to do when you’re not at DC?
When I'm not at work I like to spend time with my family and spend time on the golf course.
What is your food of choice?
You can't beat a nice cut of Steak.
What do you like most about DC as a company?
The best thing about working for DC is being treated as an equal - you're not just a worker, you are part of the team, and your opinion matters.
